Hiking With a Knee Injury

Welcome back to the show! In this episode, I describe the unexpected challenges I faced on an epic road trip through the Rocky Mountains.

Just four days before our adventure kicked off, I injured my knee to the point of needing crutches and having to start the holiday in a wheelchair.

This was leaving me petrified about how I could even enjoy the trip. Imagine flying 5,000 miles, only to question whether I’d be able to walk unaided on the trails I was so eager to explore.

Despite starting my journey in a wheelchair and grappling with doubts, I pushed through the pain and discomfort.

Ultimately, I went hiking around four Rocky Mountain lakes, even though I had a knee injury that, at the time, had only made a slight recovery.

Join me as I recount the ups and downs of this trip. From the struggles of travelling with an injury through to the victorious moment I stood at Emerald Lake. The experience defined the journey.

While soaking in the views that had once seemed impossible, it became a story about resilience and discovering that sometimes determination can achieve what feels unattainable.

Enjoy the ride!
